if this case is NOT prosecuted, the DA, judge and anyone else who believes this act of cruelty against an animal does not believe the perpetrators should be held accountable do not have hearts.

If left unpunished, it sends the message that this behavior is acceptable. Abusers of animals most often move on to human targets!

I can personally relate to this heinous crime. When I was just 4, my beloved "Spot" big fluffy dog was lured away from our house into the cemetery across the street and shot 4 times w a bb gun! THEN our 10 yr. old neighbor boy who Spot didn't like came & asked my mom if he could play with me and of course she said yes. So he proceeded to take me to see my Spot dead in the dirt in the cemetery with maggots crawling all over his wounds & he just stood there & watched me as I screamed & ran home! Course, we didn't see it happen so there was no Proof but like my Daddy always said "The guilty dog always barks first!" He wanted to gloat in my pain seeing what he did! I hope he burned in HELL! I KNOW WHAT THESE FOLKS ARE GOING THROUGH! PROSECUTE THAT OFFENDER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW! PERIOD! NO MERCY - THEY DIDN'T GIVE THAT BELOVED DOG ANY!

Cruelty to animals cannot be ignored. The message to anyone who chooses to cause harm to an animal through cruelty, neglect or causing them fear should be they will face being held accountable for their crime and will be given a stern prison sentence. It should always be in the public interest to prosecute anyone for crimes against animals.

They deserve the maximum penalty for this horrific act. I hope they get set on fire. That would be justice.

They are sick and twisted to carry out such an evil and cruel torturous death to this dog, they need to be charged to the fullest extent of the law and I hope that means a LONG time in prison. They are a danger to any community they live in and will escalate their violence from dogs to humans at some point, those are the statistics and they need to be taken seriously.

The Northern Ireland justice system has to use the full extent of the law to bring the perpetrators to face the courts for a heinous crime.
