I just can not believe you wouldn't even give these dogs a chance to be reunited with their owners. I have personally seen animals reunited on these social media sites. Why would you not want that for these dogs? Even if you could only save 1 wouldn't it be worth it? Aren't you a shelter? Sounds more like a greedy death house to me. Sad sad sad. If you don't care about these animals you're in the wrong line of business and not caring is exactly what you look like!

Every animal should be given a chance at saving. Shelters make money to euthanize!! Think of the money they could make from healthy animals placed in homes through adoptions! People need to know these animals are at this horrid shelter.. And I use the word shelter very loosely!!

i think it's our tax dollars that pay for this. We should be able to see pictures of all the animals that are sent there. I would not recommend anyone take a found animal there.

Patently ridiculous the only reason it is impossible is either 1) Money or 2) Laziness. Either way the thought that any organization could be so indifferent to both the animals and their parents is criminal. There is a special place in Hell for people like this!

This is beyond unacceptable. Lost animals are reunited hundreds of times a day using social media and pictures. Why on earth would you refuse to do this? Why would you rather kill someone's pet than give them a chance at reuniting with their family? This isn't shelter; it is a euth center.

Euthanizing is a painless death for disease or severe behavior issues. An adoptable animal is KILLED. To not make their animals available is lazy , thoughtless and cruel to owners and prospective adopters. It is much easy to stick a needle in an animal's heat or vein than to take the time to do even the minimum to give the animal a chance. Who ever has made this decision, supported it or just allowed to happen because they could, should just quit or be fired and give those who have not grown callus with time, who are just lazy and have no compassion step up and give these helpless and voiceless creature the opportunity to have a good and long life. Please remember citizens of this area, you vote these people in or out, you need to remind them you are the ones who keep them in office and pay their salaries. If you voted them in, you can vote them out.

Photo's are a great way to find a missing pet. This is the best way to claim your pet. If a pet does have a home and is lost it should not be euthanized without giving the owner a chance to claim their pet.

I went there a fews ago and was disturbed at the conditions but was appalled at the way I was treated by a very young and arrogant girl. I picked the dog I wanted and then she proceeds to tell me I have to wait until 'they' get it spayed and come back to get her (leaving her there longer to catch something and keeping the place crowded). I said I will take her right now to my vet, board her and get her spayed tomorrow. She looked me square in the face and said 'I don't believe you. You want her for breeding, and I know it. ' I begged her and she continued with this crazy story until I left. l had vet reference and all and she treated me like I was a scammer and she was exhibiting what little control she had. It is a sad place.

This situation is disgraceful from every angle. Appalling that Tyler's answer to stray animals is to ship them to another county to be 'dealt with'. What a chicken poop way to be for such a large city as Tyler to practically guarantee a pet and owner do not stand a chance of being reunited. Klein, please at least post an album of pics of the strays taken in from other cities. Please!!!!!!

My mom took 2 dogs and had a change of heart. That same day she went back to get them and they were already killed. What a shame.

Please give these precious animals a fair chance to find a loving home instead of wholesale, paid slaughter. This puts me in mind of people who have an agenda; draw in all possible animals out there, don't consider them as living, feeling beings--just in, collect the fee, kill them with no compassion. Sounds a lot like those people who easily torture animals before they move to humans--

I am 100% behind this petition. I believe I had a dog end up there from Flint. I didn't know at the time animals were taken there and not Tyler. I was told by neighbors she got out and was picked up. My heart was broken !!!!!!

It's absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting that these pets aren't being given a fair chance at finding their owners or given a chance at life. Shameful

I am amazed how quickly animals "euthanized" after they have been kicked around in this facility. And this is supposed to be a rescue shelter? Sad, sad situation that must be changed!

Things need to change ! Max was one of the very few saved . Ask friends to share and sign. We can do this ! WE BELIEVE !!

Please advertise these animals! It's only right.
