We, the users below, would like to express our angst with the moderating on TTW of late.
We understand and embrace the need for a safe and welcoming environment for all people and fan bases, and we welcome moderating that is designed to foster that goal. Recent behaviour by the moderation team, however, has clearly demonstrated otherwise. Innocuous and good natured posts have been disappearing without transparency or warning, and there has been no attempt to make evident the distinction between "hateful and innocuous speech." Entire threads, which have been well intentioned in the spirit of community building and aimed to facilitate discourse, have been deleted, yet hateful posts have remained. This simple minded, and, in many ways, arbitrary approach to moderation seems to be conditional upon user reporting, and it is thoroughly being misused to the detriment of all.
Our immediate goal is to initiate a dialogue to address these and more issues. We would appreciate access to moderators whom are responsible for the continued health of the forum towards a gainful and productive discussion.
This is your forum and we are extremely appreciative of this virtual space where we have been able to foster a little community in this niche world of ours. Your own lack of attention to moderation is undoing many years of effort. We hope someone sees this as important enough to explain matters which have all of us confused, and quite frankly jointly considering alternative communication tools.

After winning the battle of my life, I came back to my favorite forum to find posts deleted in droves for nonsensical reasons. Please, stop the madness.
I respect the need for moderation because I really like posting on TTW and don't want it to turn into other forums like MTF, but it seems to me like the moderation on TTW has gone a little overboard and trigger happy these past few weeks. I know how hard it can be to moderate a whole forum or even a section of a forum because I've done it before, but please, a little understanding here. Things go harmlessly off topic all the time on TTW and knowing the difference between banter and a genuine attack is needed here.
vive le beau jeu is a prime example of a Rafa hater who exists only to post defamatory, nasty and negative comments about Nadal and not only has he/she has not been banned but the comments are not even deleted.. If a Rafa fan did this about anyone or Federer in particular, they would be banned. It's time that TTW rules that ANY poster who accuses players of using PED will be automatically banned.
As an addendum to the below, I would like to see at least some semblance of balance and open-mindedness regarding moderation going forward. The forum has been treading a dangerous path in the last couple of months and I fear that TTW may lose some of its finest contributors if this suppression (and, dare I say, oppression) of harmless thoughts and feelings continues.
I would like a return to an environment that allows free expression of thoughts that are not hateful or designed to inflame other forum members. These mass deletions of totally innocuous posts needs to stop so the fear is not there every morning that an alert has been sent for no known reason.
I demand a fair moderation in Talk Tennis forum of Tennis Warehouse.
Moderation is essential, but its been a bit excessive off late. Even some harmless posts/banter have been deleted. Please re-consider.

Needless moderation, including deleting completely innocuous posts, is one of the most damaging things that can happen to any online community. Whatever new hire/intern has been deleting posts lately is damaging TTW.
