I used to swim in the river till I found out the water was polluted, I don't even want to fish there now. I live in this town an I'd love to see us have clean water for us an visitors to enjoy and use considering tri county municipal gets its water from the river. Also how about the fact older houses still have the sewage draining into it?

I have a 2 year old son that regularly bathes in this filth. Radiation and the chemicals you're finding and better absorbed thru the skin than drinking. Why should I have to pay a water bill every month to buy bottled water, filtration pitchers and a filter for my faucet? If you're not going to start paying for these extra necessities because you can't do your job, then I suggest you fix the problem.

I swam in these waters several summers in a row while visiting family. That's exactly why I have signed this from way down here in Alabama, for the safety of my family! Clean it up and make it right!

The rivers and creeks in this area were cleaned up from mine pollution in the late 1960s, now we are taking a step back to the period before the 60s, clean it up and leave it alone, no more fracking!

Why can't we just plug the leak, pump out the water and dispose of it safely? This is serious, the health of our children is at stake.

This would not be left to continue and go on if we were not in a poor rural area.. Our water has been reported hazardous for 2 years now.. and that was just the reporting.. who knows how much longer it has been hazardous that they'very covered up & lied to us..
