He has right to say what he thinks, just like Prince & Princess Pinnochio. He's said sorry if it offended them, but of course that's not good enough for them. Their problem, not everyone else's.

In Australia and Jezza has been a staple of my viewing since I lived in the UK. Like many of his generation he has opinions, he does not always express these in a diplomatic fashion. That is far from a bad thing given I have been a member of a number od cohorts he has poured sxorn and judgement upon in the past, but his expression of his thoughts is far from the offence many others within the media commit as 'shock jocks', false prophets, left and right wing journalists and others with mouth far outsizing their brain amd yet with an audience thanks to modern media channels.
When sacked from TG he hit someone - that is a breach of a professional code of conduct. His daft speech about someone who is clearly media hungry and therefore chooses to place herself in the firing line for every type of comment is just that - a daft speech made with ill judgement.
Stopping his shows on Amazon starts a slippery slope to media choosing who can express what opinion.....and as history shows that is a slope to truly dark places.
Without the prospect of Grand Tour and Clarksons farm I will doubtless have no need for Amazon in the future.

Free speech, let's not go down the cancel culture route because somebodies opinion offends you. You don't have to agree with what people stand for or say but cancel culture is reminiscent of an autocratic society.
