Thom and May may do a GREAT job in this beach. There have many projects for this beach, really good projects for tourist and local people and for develop the turism in Kuantan. The beach looks really nice now after the job of the couple.

i think they make a good change to teluk tongkang
before people only know TT just for place for 'maksiat'
but now it is a good place for tourist, especially for backpackers
it is a good movement, what they are doing now
as far as we know malaysia is not really a 'backpacker friendly' country
when we see our neighbour country, thailand, i would say we are still behind ten years for becoming 'backpackers friendly'
what i want to justify is, what are they doing is a good movement, which would lead to a better economy for malaysia and especially for kuantan
be considerate and i hope the authority would think about changing Telok tongkang into a backpackers paradise

This is a lovely couple that are doing such a good job on making that beach a good place for families and travellers. The service are very good and and it will help a lot to develop the turism in that area. They are not doing anything wrong,just making a service for people that want to enjoy that part of Malaysia and making it possible. People jealous of their effort and personal success should just learn what hard work and consistency and honesty are like.

I agree that the owner did change the beach into a new traveller friendly beach .

It's a great place for the locals and tourists to come and have a great time. The owner has transformed the place and kept the beach as it is. This place can really be a tourist attraction if given a chance. Telok tongkang is worth saving and it might be the starter pack for Visit Pahang 2017.

I support for the action that authority should understand the hardwork and creativity that SEMPOI CAFE had shown. But shouldn't stop them for continue their business. They just had proved the opportunity that YOU haven't seen before, so YOU should have done what is appropriate to support and not to chase them away.
