I am financially broke and have not had any financial assistance so far. I am willing and able to work. I live in the USA!! It’s against our constitutional rights to keep me from making money.

My stylist owns a solo operation. One chair in one small shop. It’s feasible to do thorough cleaning between clients with no one else in the salon, we can each wear masks, etc. The guidelines need flexibility to account for the capability to protect one another. I’m over 60 and a scientist. I understand the science of disease more than many people and I’m not willing to take unnecessary risks. I can live without a haircut for months (I’ve wanted to see what growing it out would look like, anyway). But I definitely see the need for this flexibility to allow proprietors who can provide safety to keep their businesses viable.

I have a salon that holds 36 chairs along with a spa.
I am based in San Diego in little Italy, I am preparing for us to go back to work by cleaning are salon and ordering all the things that have been recommended to us through PPA and looking at Atlanta guidelines.
I am 100% behind being safe and putting the health of my team and the health of the clients first,
