The non-Islamic world should not have to pay a tax to Islam on everything we use.

Halal certification has gone overboard. What use is it in the domestic market anyway if the products aren't labelled. I refuse to buy Halal certified food. I am NOT a Muslim.

I want a CHOICE . . . . I do NOT want Halal. And Certification should NOT restrict my choices, or have costs passed on to Me.

There is no need for any certification of halal in anyway when they can say a simple prayer over their food and it is then ok,and why should we pay for this as a non Muslim culture!

Much if not most of the profit from certification may not be going to support Islam anyway but, rather, to line the pockets of the certifiers. Labelling is essential so that consumers can make informed choices.

I do not want my food to be halal certified. I want food that is to be clearly labelled. My right to choose between halal and non halal food is being taken away from me in Australia

Halal is being forced down our throats literally. Where has our freedom of choice gone and what about the poor innocent animals. I don't want to become part of this barbarism.

I do not want my food or products blessed by any god/idol. I want my freedom to choose and Halal certification is denying me that right.
