Where is my freedom of choice? People use religion as an excuse to fight and oppress, they have so much to answer for, I am NOT religious and do not wish to support religion especially one that seems to be designed to oppress everything it comes in touch with!! Religion should have nothing to do with food production.

I do not support being forced to pay towards companies joining and paying for the halal certification scam. I do not support Australian Companies being forced to pay halal certification, this fee should be paid for by the religious group requesting it. I do not support inhumane slaughter of animals, i do not support products not showing indication it is halal certified.

At the moment the labelling system is non-existant. This is a necessity. This labelling system will give me a choice I am a Christian & it is against MY FAITH to consume any food/by-product that has been ritually slaughtered & blessed to another god I am OFFENDED that Halal Certified foods have not been labelled before

I totally agree with all four proposals. It's getting to the point of having no choice but to buy Halal certified goods from food to shampoo. I feel that my right to choose has been denied me.

Halal imposes religious beliefs and practices on me that I do not want as a non-muslim. It rsults in workplace jobs for muslims at the expense of non-muslims. It results in costs being incurred by companies that take halal certification which are passed on to me. It results in money being provided for the promotion of islam - when I believe no religion should have such funding from the whole community.
