i think halal certification is wrong and in Australia which is a Christian cojntry i should not have to eat meat and foods blessed to another god. i do my best to avoid halal foods but it gets very hard when there is a lack of labeling on the products

I don't anything to do with food products that are subject of any religious rite process and especially the Islamic one that makes all consumers contribute to the Islamic cause. Some food producers are hiding the fact by not marking products and all consumers should be able to exercise choice in their purchase's. Therefore marking should not be a choice of food manufacturers, and it should be mandatory.
