All three of our children received an incredible education at Holy Spirit. One is now a college professor and published author, one is a doctor and one is a software developer. Holy Spirit was fiscally sound and in better shape than Lourdes. It makes no sense closing this school for Lourdes. I am very disappointed in the diocese.

This is still a very important issue!!

Each school should keep its own identity.!

The very least that could have been done, which also would have saved money and reduced hurt feelings somewhat would have been to stay as the mustangs and kept the central colors.

This school has a right to try and save itself from the destruction the diocese and bishop have caused

Kudos to the author of this petition. It has provided an avenue of communication to the many, many people affected who had no voice. This could be a long process, but for the immediate future, the school is seeking permission to remain open if it can raise the needed funds. Show your support by donating. There is a GoFundMe page or simply call your parish and make a pledge or donation.

Restructuring and renaming was not a choice for involved families and staff but by a monarchy who have power and financial gain only in mind!

You are losing me as a donor because you changed the name of my high school. I graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic....not St Patricks

As one of the families affected by the new change, I do have concerns as to how the money is being dispersed between the three schools. I think it is blatantly obvious one of the schools isn't getting a fair percentage. When and where can we expect to find a clear financial report so we the parents and Saint Patrick's Academy community can where our money is being allocated to.

Families can't afford to pay for the proposed new construction - to consolidate 3 schools into one campus The change in name, school mascot and school colors is obnoxious. So is the change from a 5 day to a 4 day program. Unfortunately the condescending hierarchy will ignore our objections - true to form.

Very disappointed with the lack of transparency surrounding this whole situation.

I feel the community should be more informed on how this is going to play out

Sad to uproot everything without input from the people that will be paying for it. Issues not with out standing to demolish everything is questionable and pathetic.

This change was not properly presented and discussed . EVERYONE I talk to is against this. No consideration to the history of the schools and what is the benefit of changing names, mascot, colors etc???

There will be an assessment imposed on all parishes in the city of Great Falls. Taxation without representation. I am a strong believer in Catholic Education, however this is not how it’s don
