We are seeking to make a change in the Botetourt county dress code.

Yes! Also, the dress code policy in Botetourt is blatantly sexist, I have never seen a boy dress coded, yet girls can’t wear shorts when it’s hot outside. It’s incredibly unfair. Nobody wants to be called out in front of the entire class, and forced to call our parents to bring an acceptable change of clothes. Not only does it disrupt our education, it’s humiliating. I hope this policy is changed so that girls could feel comfortable in their learning environment.
