It's important for everyone to remember that Jameis is still a child. Jimbo is guiding him. Has your 19 or 20 year old son done something stupid or said something that made you think "why on earth did he just say/do that"? Of course he has. Last year he was a freshman in college. When you were a freshman in college did you move away from home and IMMEDIATELY do everything perfectly now that "you are an adult". That's ridiculous! Just because he is playing college football does NOT mean he is fully an adult. He's going to make dumb mistakes, do stupid stuff, get with the wrong people who are also not fully adults yet and think of ridiculous ways to make each other laugh (that actual adults will NOT find funny), he will drink when he's not supposed to and he will choose women who only want to be with him because this college freshman is now the college QB. He needs time to grow up people. He needs a man with high regards, like Jimbo Fisher, to mentor him and teach him what being an adult man is really like. Having the entire CFB world watching every time he walks from bldg 1 to bldg 2 for classes wondering if he's going to classes or what he's saying in the hallway or doing between classes in the bathroom is not helping him. Actually it's called stalking. Let this young man be a student, follow his path in life and play some ball. And ESPN - why don't you keep his name outta your mouths because really your just making it all worse. We love you Jameis. And I just want to watch you grow up and throw some great passes in the meantime. You're a terrific young man! We love you!~
