this has been an ongoing problem for over a decade. it has escalated to the point where there's an active rat infestation. the commons needs to be shutdown and managerially rebuilt from the bottom up.

As a parent, paying a very pricey Board payment each year, it is appalling to hear of the conditions in the dining hall at WCC. The Princeton campus students do not have the dining options of the Lawrencevile campus students (although the Board payment is not reduced to reflect this) they should at least have a clean, safe dining hall with balanced nutritious food options.

Gluten-free vegan. Very rarely anything besides salad that I can eat. Food is frequently mislabeled, and I have always been concerned about contamination. Additionally, food preparation and storage appears unsanitary.

After three years of steady decline, and another year of food from the dining commons ahead of me, I'm tired of sitting idly by as our options and basic sanitation requirements are being disregarded.

During my time at WCC, I suffered from severe food poisoning, and malnutrition which made it difficult to stay healthy enough to fight illness that spread around campus like wildfire. It is disgusting and appalling. We pay the same as the main campus and deserve the same respect and resources. Enough with excuses.

I cannot believe younger students are forced to buy such an overpriced meal plan for disgusting food. My freshman and sophomore year, I was constantly having stomach issues... Since moving off campus, these issues have disappeared. I remember finding mold on the bread at least once a week.

As a former pub worker with first hand experience of the foodservice situation on campus, I can say with very little doubt that the root of many of these problems comes from the Aramark management that is placed at Westminster. There are a number of highly qualified and caring staff members who are unable to do their jobs because of poor, and often neglectful leadership. What is most upsetting is the fact that there have been committed, competent and responsive managers at Westminster in the past and they have ALL been 'promoted' away from this campus to the Lawrenceville campus. I recognize that there are challenges to working on a small campus with a limited budget but the issues that we as students face on a daily basis can be resolved by hiring management staff who are willing to make an effort to provide a reasonable dining experience at Westminster.

Having lived on campus for three years, I can honestly say that I avoided the Dining Commons whenever possible. I experienced intense stomach pains nearly every time I ate food from there. I haven't eaten there in almost a year, and I have experienced no such problems. The cleanliness and quality of the food is frankly atrocious.

I have had similar bad expeiences leading to food poisoning and other health issues. I approached the school to find better options and was FORCED to obtain a meal plan my sophomore year despite never using it due to fear. These conditions are ABUSIVE to the student body. In addition to STEALING at least $5500 dollars for the unused meals.

As a graduate student, I've been able to avoid the dining commons after my first visit revealed the options unappetizing and frankly unacceptable. I can't imagine being forced to buy a meal plan and eat there for freshman and sophomore year.

Worst part is that the meal plans are mandatory if you live on campus. They spent a lot of money renovating the new kitchens in the dorms, and yet it doesn't really make sense to use them if we've already paid for much worse and much more expensive food. We are being forced to pay for unhealthy and unsanitary food that most of us do not want.

The dinning commons has never been consistent. Students don't have a variety of nutritious options. Many of the foods are over cooked, greasy, or raw. Vermin, gnats, and flies are always present. As a senior I have had spent almost 4 years eating terrible meals and had to spend extra money on extra food to feel full. Please help the students of Westminster! THIS MUST STOP!

These conditions should not be acceptable in any environment, but I find them to be particularly upsetting at a school full of singers. Our bodies are our instruments, and the dining commons is poisining them. I sincerely hope immediate action is taken and that this issue is resolved by the upcoming academic year - these changes have been long overdue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
