Our Roots Run Deep...Lake Cyrus Community has vested interest in Deer Valley Elementary (DVES). We are the stakeholder, Mr. Craig mention in his proposal. The Parents and Children are the pillars of the school. We have more than our children vested; also there is our time and money. Our Community is the host of Brocks Gap Intermediate School, a school which is composed of students from DVES, Trace Crossing Elementary School and South Shades Crest Elementary School. For these reasons we our tied to Deer Valley and demand to stay.

I am currently organizing the data from this petition to present to the school board during the upcoming public hearing. Legal counsel is reviewing our community impact statement to ensure our zoning concerns are structured for formal submission.

The administration can no longer ignore the scale of our opposition now that we have reached this threshold. I am currently drafting a formal letter for the school board to ensure our position on the rezoning remains the primary point of discussion.

Leave Lake Cyrus alone. We belong at DVES.
We bought our house specifically for the school zone. This is so unfair to our kids.
KEEP US AT DEER VALLEY. We have put so much work into this community school.
my kids are crushed they wont be with their friends anymore. please listen to us.

This makes zero sense. Why break up a neighborhood that already works so well together?
