We are asylum seekers who live in Dalagärde Vandrarhem and wish to strongly protest against Migrationsverket's desicion to transfer us to different places around Sweden which we got notified less than 48 hours in advance. Representatives handed out post-it notes this morning with a name of the location and we are expected to pack our belongings and be put on a bus in the morning.

Most of us have been living in Dalagärde Vandrarhem for 8 to 14 months and all of us are anxiously waiting and looking forward to receiving our residence decisions. We would like the option to move once we have a decision to stay in Sweden and know for sure that we can start a new life.

Many of us have worked hard to establish ourselves well in Gothenburg, participating in activities learning Swedish, sports, volunteer work, traineeships etc.

THIS IS AN INHUMAN TREATMENT TOWARDS PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY SUFFERED ENOUGH! STOP THIS OUTRAGEOUS ACTIONS AND START GIVING PEOPLE THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS!

PLEASE SIGN THIS PROTEST TO LET THE REFUGEES STAY IN GOTHENBURG!

The momentum behind this fight is proof that people refuse to tolerate the way Migrationsverket treats us like cargo. We are terrified and displaced yet this surge of support shows that our lives here in Gothenburg actually matter to the public.

There has to be another solution! This is so inhuman! All of them already established engagement, studies, treatmente, frienships, practice and a new LIFE in Gothemburg! Lots of them are members of The international Choir rehearsing at Gotemburg Opera every wednesday since february. Already having held concerta at the Opera and programmed to sing at the Inaguration of the new Red Cross hospital at Gamlestad 4/9 and at Circus, Stockholm the 9/9 at the presentation of the opera "Kristina from Duvemåla". Theyjust can't be treated like this. There has to be another option! Please, you responsibles for this: give it a deeper thought and find a solution!

These extraordinary human beings have worked so incredibly hard to be part of the community, and to make a new life in Göteborg. Please don't throw away their hard work and commitment to contributing to the city, their hope and their home.

Time to treat asylum seekers as our neighbours.
