It is disgraceful to make people travel that far to train for a rugby match why do you need to do it there's no point!!!!!!

This would be a real shame for the sport in the south. I appreciate its challenging running a professional club in the region but it feels like an easy out.
My concern is that this is being seen as a short term fix, but once you've made that decision to move there is no coming back. You'll cut off the pipeline for the talent that is in the region.
Focus on the development of the youth and give them a sustainable pathway through education links and by supporting other community clubs to create a long term vision for the game.
A sad day for the sport...

This decision is ludicrous, there is no logic or true advantage to those who are involved with the Hemel Stags club. The players, supporters and local community deserve better. I can only think it's a money making opportunity by someone who is mercenary to the cause, and not a true Rugby League supporter. This is not development this is the demise of one club for another within the grassroots area. Questions need to be asked of the RFL the support of this action taken, when they've been so supportive of expansion

This smells like a decision made by someone with no idea/concern about the consequences of their actions. Terrible idea that will cut off the path for local talent like Sarginson to develop further; they'll be lost to the game of RL or even worse, have to play union!

Disgusting... I really don't know what else to say. I'm a southerner living in Wigan and used to follow the Stags and now Wigan Warriors, but there is no way I could afford to travel that far to watch them train or a match. I don't see the point of the move.
