Që nga shpallja e pavarësisë më 17 shkurt 2008, Kosova ka përmbushur të gjitha kriteret e BE-së, por liberalizimi i vizave mbetet një mundësi e largët. Dinjiteti njerëzor dhe liria e lëvizjes janë vlera evropiane. Pra, pse kosovarëve u mohohet kjo vlerë themelore evropiane?
Ky peticion synon të ndikojë thellësisht në procedurën e liberalizimit të vizave të BE-së për Kosovën, iniciativë e ndërmarrë nga Qendra për Paqe dhe Konflikt në RITK në bashkëpunim me Universitetin Metropolitan të Tiranës. Pasi ky peticion të ketë marrë një numër të konsiderueshëm nënshkrimesh, objektivi ynë përfundimtar është ta paraqesim atë në Parlamentin Evropian, veçanërisht në Parlamentin francez dhe atë holandez, dy shtete që po pengojnë procesin e liberalizimit të vizave të Kosovës. Një prani fizike në këto qeveri do ta portretizojë Kosovën si vendin më pro-evropian, por që ende po refuzohet për lirinë e saj të lëvizjes.
Populli i Kosovës, veçanërisht rinia, e kanë fituar të drejtën e lëvizjes së lirë në Evropë duke i qëndruar besnik vendit të tyre dhe aleatëve evropianë. Nënshkruani peticionin për të mbështetur qytetarët e Kosovës në fitimin e të drejtave dhe mundësive të barabarta si çdo qytetar tjetër evropian.

Imagine being isolated in the heart of Europe with limited freedom of movement, a fundamental right for everyone.
Since its declaration of independence on February 17, 2008, Kosovo has met all of the EU's criteria, yet visa liberalization remains a distant possibility. Human dignity and freedom of movement are European values. Thus, why are Kosovars denied this basic European value?
This petition intends to profoundly influence Kosovo's EU visa liberalization procedure, an initiative undertaken by the RITK Peace and Conflict Center in collaboration with the Metropolitan University of Tirana. Once this petition has received a significant number of signatures, our final objective is to present it to the European Parliament, specifically the French Parliament and the Dutch Parliament, two nations that are impeding Kosovo's visa liberalization process. A physical presence in these governments will portray Kosovo as a country that has profited from the EU for the past 20 years but is still being rejected for its freedom of movement.
Kosovo's people, particularly the youth, have earned the right to free movement in Europe by remaining loyal to their country and its European allies. Sign the petition to support Kosovar citizens in gaining equal rights and opportunities as any other European citizen.

Resident of the Czech Republic / US citizen! I studied in Kosovo in summer 2022 and had such a valuable experience— it’s unfair that my Kosovar classmates would face so many obstacles if they wanted to study at my university after they so kindly welcomed me at theirs.
Visa Liberalisation for Kosovo. Kosovo has filled all its criteria for Visa Liberalisaton for sometime now & the EU had failed to deliver on its promise and should fulfil it now!
It is absurd for the European Union to stand for unity, human rights and equality while simultaneously isolating and excluding only the people of Kosovo, denying us the right to move freely within our own continent while every other country celebrates that freedom. This is blatant discrimination! Kosovo has fulfilled all the required criteria and the EU continues to shamelessly gaslight us into bending to their will while denying us access to a right that everyone else has by default. The time for that to end and for Kosovo to get visa liberalization is long overdue.
Instead of spending 250euros every year to get a visa, I can spend that money in Europe on my vacation.
Të nderuar, Paramendone mbas luftës së dytë botërore, si do të ndjeheshin Franca, Gjermania, Holanda, Austria, Italia, Anglia, Greqia, Polonia, etj. po të izoloheshin e të mos kishin të drejtë lëvizjeje pa visa, e kjo të zgjaste me dekada sikurse në rastin e Kosovës? A dini pse Kosovarëve u mohohet kjo vlerë ? Të kuptojmë njëher e përgjithmonë, që liria nuk vie pa lëvizje të lirë! Ne ende vazhdojm të jemi robër... Duam Liri. Duam Drejtësi! Kosovo’s people and its youth should have the freedom and the opportunities just as most of Europe’s citizens, especially fellow youngsters. I believe that In order for us to help our country reach the European standards, we must be allowed to personally experience and learn from the members of the European Union.
