I am an American Indian by blood. My great grand mother was an Indian who did NOT identity with being called "Black" (Meaning "PALE" according to the Merrium Webster's 1828 definition) nor African American which is another misnomer. She said: "We ain't Africans!" My whole family consists of Coppertoned Aborigines. And my great great cousin whom is still alive has Indian as her race on her medical records. They both grew up as Indians on Indian land down in Mississippi. And with these truths I declare I am an Indian, an Aboriginal, Indigenous, Amerindian, or Negro. Cherokee, Aniyunwia, Blackfoot, Tiano, West Indian, First Nation, distant relative to the Mayans, Incas, Aztecs and Olmecs, The Xi peoples, the original people's of the Americas. These are the only titles I will except.

It is imperative that Our People follow through on this!!!

We will no longer let another people determine our history or tell us who we are,when we know the truth and know that there has a been Misinformation and manipulation of our people, a reclassification of our people in order to steal what is rightfully ours.we are the decendants of the original people of these lands.

I am Aboriginal American, my family indigenous to this land with strong ties in Alabama and S. Carolina. My grandmother is my history book and she said we are not from Africa. Proud to be copper-colored American.

I agree that we are indigenous Americans but more than anything the universe is waiting for US to RISE THE HECK UP! Our power & leadership within is what will truly set us free, but if getting kicked out our own land is what it takes for us to step up, I'm hoping this petition will start us off on the right track...
