I am researching my history, and realized that my Grandfather was cherokee, his mother was full blooded. He was born in Mt. Dora Fl and grew up in Sarasota. My Grandmother was born in St. Augustine. Her Mother was either Cherokee or Choctaw can't remember. Grandpa always said that "You are Pecan Tan, and you are from here". Ironically his Fathers name was Jesse. I fully support this movement. We must remove this curse!
