I Am American

I am INDIGENOUS to AMERICA. If this land ever expect to be great again it MUST begin by doing honorable actions and one of which would be to allow proper identification of those erroneously referred to as African-Americans.

Interesting, this gave me a greater understanding of the word "negro" , Spanish for black. Which most probably means that you were first indigenous to Africa as well. However in terms of identity and rights afforded to the indigenous in established treatys, this issue is key.

My great grandma could go out the woods of Georgia a pick plants, etc., for medicine that cured whatever wrong with you, she was Indigenous not a slave. My great grandfather, said he was enslaved on his own land, he didn't come from Africa.

We must stand as a nation

I grew up knowing I had Indian heritage on both my father and mother side of the family. This is an injustice. We had no voice, no vote and no choice in being called African American.

This also sets up a "lawful" manner to create an ALL EUROPEAN (WHITE) or SEGREGATED MILITARY, and a "lawful" manner to create an unarmed, defenseless "enslaved" populace that can be slaughtered (lynched) like sheep (slaves)!

Know who you are.

We are indigenous Americans!

Discrimination due to origin of Americas nation and color of skin is under black is a treason committed by all who have used scornful terms and catagories that were put on the people to reclass a people under historical ancestry.

We do not want to be misnomered as African Americans. Our identity has constantly been changed by the American government time and time again and we are tired of it.
