We are against Kingfisher Caravan Park, Proposals/rule change

Absolutley disgraceful how can this be happening

I think its wrong to introduce an age limit because many people love their vans as they are and as long as they are clean and looked after what does it matter how old they are. What a disgusting rule change if it comes in it will force people to sell their vans and most probably not get another newer one due to finances.

I cashed my private pension in to purchase a van on kingfisher for respite fo my elderly mum and myself as ive had to retire through ill health. When i bought my van 2016 i was told by owner it was a 1999 model but site office inform me it was a 1994 with all this lot going on i am feeling very upset cause i just dont know how im going to break the news to mom this will be the end for her .

I'm don't own a caravan we rent and it's totally unfair on the holders,not to mention the increase of rent for them and customers. People will look for alternative options, resorting to finiancial loss not only for the holders of caravans but Businesses too. The sea side resort will be diminished

Not on this site but happening all over the country. The government needs to sit up and do something and get the law in place to stop these greedy caravan park owners .people will wise up and stop buying caravans .The income it provides is massive .

Shouldnt be allowed

It seems coastfield have gotten rather greedy with caravan owners suffering the brunt of this. People work hard to buy and maintain their caravans, not to mention the site fees.. if a caravan is kept tidy and well presented inside and out and has no safety risks then what's the problem.... the problem is the coastfields sales reps will have little to do and be out of commission. Instead of the age restriction, why don't coastfield provide services at a charge to help owners improve their vans regardless of age limit. That way they are getting a income after so many years and owners aren't being forced to move. I am an owner but not on kingfisher thankfully. Petition signed as it's pure greed.

Having purchased our van only last year (2016) had we have been aware of this new policy we would of certainly looked elsewhere, I am in total disagreement of this ruling considering the vast majority of vans on site at present will assimingly fall into this category. I fully endorse this petition. Mr & Mrs Dallison

Shocking new rule change.costing caravan owners thousands.

If this becomes the norm it will ruin tourism in ingoldmells.I hope the council will put the same restrictions on cars and touring caravans so it effectively now council employees.in particular home carers you won't have a cheap work force. then
