I feel let down by eldc over these proposals . We as owner's have put a lot if money into the site over the years and we should have been consulted and our views considered . I also feel this proposal unfair as you have not taken into account the money spent on these vans. It is unjust to say a caravan costing in excess of 30k n one costing 15k new will be worth the same at 15 yr old. Other factors need to be considered

As long as van is kept well and not in state of disrepair then age is irrelevant.

The age of the van should not be a issue, as long as it is kept in a condition that meet a pre determined standard's

I think this is wrong what the council is doing, there should be no age limit's on vans as long u keep them up to standards and the owners who have spent £1000s on them when I brought mine last year I was told there was no age limit on kingfisher that's why I brought one on there otherwise I would had not brought one

As long as the vans are well maintain they should be aloud to stay as a lot of money has been spent on them ie new winfows etc and will the people that loose there vans get compensation.its not right.

Age Discrimination! Kingfisher will end up losing so many caravan owners if they dont scrap this stupid idea!

Shouldn't even think about proposals like this, people have saved for a long time and saved hard for the dream caravan home. The people with the "older" vans are able to give a "cheaper" option to those who are less off. So to even think about this is not right. Also who is the one to play god with people's holiday homes. In my opinion aslong as people keep it in good state of repair I can't see a problem. Rob

No consultation. People on this site do look after their caravans and always have. The rules should not be changed and vans of any age as long as in good condition should remain on site. This is just a money making scam for EDLC !

I have just brought my van last year. I'm still trying to get Coastfields to sort the snag list out for my caravan as it was damaged upon siting my brand new van. I'm not happy as I was told there was no age limit. After the experience I've had with Coastfields so far I won't be buying another van from them. I thought kingfisher was a lovely site and now Coastfields is bringing it down to there level. Money grabbers. They don't care who they rob.

My mum is worried she is going to loose her caravan if she know this rule was coming in she would not have bought her caravan she was told there wasn't a age limit but now one is being brought in there is a lot of caravan owners upset about this and a lot that can't afford to buy a new caravan I think it is horrible wat EDLC are doing to a lot of caravan owns

Not happy with edlc. No proper consultation with owners. Age discrimination comes to mind
