We need to stop this foolishness of oppressing our own people. Stop the sale of this beautiful beach and its environment. I have been to this lovely beach many times and have enjoyed the crystal clear water, the powers white sand and the delicious food. Where else can you get those things without paying an entrance fee?

When I travel, and tell people I live in Jamaica, they tell me how lucky I am...I can go to the beach everyday. I then inform them that there is hardly a beach for us locals to enjoy anymore...and they are always shocked and appalled. Keep Winnifred beach free and protected, for the environment and for the people.

Why is Jamaica selling off its beaches to the highest bidders?
The beaches in Jamaica should be for Jamaicans first, who then in turn share it with those tourists who visit our shores.
