WBAR is the best thing I've ever done. Not only did it broaden my musical taste and expound upon my existing love of radio, it taught me more about how to deal with people and be "professional" than any class ever could. I can credit experiences gained from WBAR with landing me two jobs. Most importantly, it's provided me with friendships for life. As the biggest club on Barnard's campus it deserves an incredible space, so it can continue to help students grow into the awesome people they're going to be.

WBAR is one of the most prominent cultural organizations on campus, and deserves to be recognized by Barnard's administration in its future plans. Good luck!

I have had lots of positive experiences with WBAR and hope they can move somewhere nicer than the basement.

WBAR is the only outlet for students to get involved with underground music at Columbia or Barnard, and seeing as underground music is the most important thing in the world (no sarcasm or hyperbole), and seeing as Columbia and Barnard see themselves as "enriching" places, WBAR should really be given free reign to do whatever it wants, or at least a nicer space.

As a parent who has visited the appalling current space, I certainly hope that the college will finally relocate WBAR to appropriate facilities.

My experiences working at WBAR have been absolutely vital to my time at Barnard. With a new space, the station will be able to continue to grow and thrive, and to offer even more positive experiences to future generations of WBAR DJs and listeners, and the Barnard community as a whole.
