There is SO much history attached to this store, for certain genres of music that are not recognized otherwise.
You won’t ever see these bands getting awards on tv or playing in sports stadiums for halftime, yet they are loved around the world and can fill concert halls. People have traveled to other countries to see their favorite underground bands in multiple day festivals.
This building is recognized as part of the birthplace for many of these well known artists, as it gave them a place to have their music be heard. Please recognize these amazing artists by maintaining the integrity of the store front and making it a historical marker.

This is history, this is more than a building. There's not a country where this shop had a huge impact. In a way, it might be the only building we know from Chicago. It must stay as is. You dont improve on perfection.. SR Denmark a fan since 1988/89.
