WaxTrax Recrds on Lincoln Ave. meant a lot to me when I was growing up. They were one of the few places I could get music that I loved. My friends and I would drive from Indianapolis just to go to WaxTrax. It is a cultural memorial.

One of the first places I visited when I might bed to Chicago in 1992 was Wax Trax. The label meant a lot to a generation of music lovers from all over the world.
