The label and store are responsible for my introduction to a good number of artists.

Please preserve this piece of Chicago music history. The industrial music movement started and was nurtured by WAX TRAX! The record store was Mecca for us misfits who found each other flipping through the records and CDs.

Wax Trax is a musical landmark that is on par to Motown. To lose this iconic location, even if the majority has never heard of them, would be a travesty. All musical institutions should be preserved for future generations.

Everyone who listens to, enjoys, or whose life's sound track is rooted in 80s Dark Wave, owes a great deal to Wax Trax. May Wax Trax live on...

If it weren't for the music WaxTrax! released, the world would have been a much more depressing place for me. I would love it if this slice of history were protected!

I still listen to many wax tracks artists daily. I remember my brother taking me there as a teen and the music and experiences have continued to shape my musical preferences to this day.
R.I.P. dollbabytina. Make this happen!!!
