For those saying there should be ONE in ONE place, that's really unlikely because 1; not everyone will be able to go and 2; there are much simpler and easier ways to go about it.
For example, if there were small conventions to begin with in each country, in capital cities perhaps? That way, the more popular those little conventions become, the more likely the idea will progress to larger ones. You know what I mean?
The smaller the better to begin with, and then eventually becoming bigger and better.
