Extreme Home Makeover for the Watson Family!
Please join with Ronnie and Judy Watson's four children, their friends and church family in nominating them for a home makeover with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Ronnie and Judy are always helping others in their community and family. All the help they joyfully give has cost them. The time they spend helping others means that their own needs are often going unmet. Their home is in need of many major repairs. It is also small and crowded. It is difficult to move the needed wheelchair(s)and equipment around in their house and in some places impossible. There is only one exit that could be used to evacuate Michael in his wheelchair in an emergency. They lift Michael manually so they also need a lift system installed. Ronnie and Judy Watson live in Hallsville, TX. They are both in their sixties. They are active in their church, Mulberry Springs Baptist Church. They have two married children and two severely disabled sons Ricky (33y), who has Proteus Syndrome, and Michael(17y), who has generalized Dystonia. Ricky has seizures and a very difficult time walking. He often needs the assitance of a wheelchair. Michael is in a wheelchair all the time and totally dependent on others for all of his care. Michael was adopted by the Watson's at 2 years of age. Ronnie and Judy also care for Judy's elderly parents. If you would like more information about the Waton's please email their daughter Edie at happymama72@aol.com or visit the blog she started for them. Thank you so much for your signature and support.
