We, the electors of the Village of Elmwood Park, request that President Silvestri and the Board of Trustees immediately repeal the water rate increase they unanimously approved on December 5, 2011 and replace it only with the Chicago water rate increase in real dollars.

I was looking at the notification feed and honestly just had to step away from the computer for a minute because my head is spinning in the best way possible. It is pretty clear that folks around here have finally had enough of these bills piling up on the kitchen table and I am just so glad people are showing up to say so.

The village board needs to wake up and look at the actual budget instead of just taxing us to death every single year.
Enough is enough. My bill is getting impossible to pay and we cant keep funding these ridiculous raises for people at village hall.

WAY TO HIGH!! How are we supposed to afford living here anymore? Stop the hikes now.
