It is a matter of misplaced priorities. The leadership (both county and national) should stop playing games with our lives. Clean portable water is all we want.

Kakuma has been a generous host to Refugee Communities fleeing the neighbouring countries of East and Central Africa for over 2 decades. The Refugees have clean, safe and healthy water for consumption, while the host community still fetches water in the nearby seasonal Tarach River. It is either the land where water is drilled for the refugees is different from where the thirsty host community leaves on, or someone is not willing to drill water for these people. We now demand for water from the Service providers.

Comments it's so pathetic to see this perennial problem and refugees enjoy all human right accessibility . As community lets stop allowing our resources from frauders for United Nations.

It is not acceptable for citizens of an independent country to languish without clean and portable water, free from mcro organisms, for more than 50 years of independence.

Its our right and the local and national governments must rise up to the occasion. Act now or we will make an election issue come 2017.
