I the above mentioned resident of QwaQwa also voice out my request to our Provincial and National Government to please intervene with our issue of having improper running water.

South African Constitution purse the Bill of Rights. Water Availability: means that there has to be a source where people can get a suf cient quantity of water for their personal and domestic use. This includes water for drinking, cooking, personal hygiene and basic domestic clean- ing. Not only should there be enough water to satisfy basic everyday needs but the sup- ply should also be continuous....Section 24 further states that "everyone" shall have the right to a healthy environment..."indicating that individuals are the bearers of the right". It further states that the conduct of the state can be challenged and it should be!

There is a plenty of rain in QwaQwa this summer but our taps are still dry,you can see water runs down the mountain but municipal tell us our dams have no water this is lies we are suffering here.i think this people benefit from this jojos.

Maluti-a-Phofoung Water Scheme should benefit from the Sterkfontein Water Scheme and the Tugel-Vaal agreement because the population it will serve will not affect it to a large degree as a reserve water source.

What is happening in qwa qwa is inappropriate we cannot live without water for 18months being surrounded by three dams... This is so unfair.

Water was released from the sterkfontien dam all the way to Vaal to relieve shortage in Gauteng and it's unfair that peaople in qwa qwa still have water problems when they have a dam that can provide them with water
