It's a disgrace that we have a municipality that receives grant income from Government to spend on the very same basic services of water and sanitation and the communities of Qwaqwa are still suffering. What is the funding used for. Have those put in positions of leadership forgotten that those are positions to serve the people.
In my village of Mphatlalatsane, near Clubview, the raw sewage ran the streets for months without being attended to. Maluti a Phofung, PLEASE serve the people, that's the only reason why you exist as a Municipality.

It is really shocking to see how our people are treated! We NEED the trucks which are delivering water( during this rainy days) off our roads! Let those taps be opened!

As S resident of Qwaqwa I hereby request urgent intervention of Provincial and National Government relating to the availability of running water in Qwaqwa. It has been over 18 months without running water and the nearest dam to Qwaqwa is over 90% full.
