Its disgusting! Children cant go out because there is always glass and litter all over the parks, trees are paths are beginning to look a state! needs to be sorted...

Glass ,rubbish grass uncut sick of it what do we pay council tax for ,, we as council tax payers for Torbay should be priority not how nice flowers for tourists are for the summer
Our children have to play in this park and they just about can walk through the grass!!

The park is becoming so bad that i cant take my nephew on the park one because of the broken dangerous equipment two the disgusting mess its in and three the grass is so over grown i fear i might loose him in it. It needs to be sorted out so that the children of watcombe can get the most out of the park with out feeling in danger. its not far that we have to put up with our community being in such bad states!!

It's about time the council got off there butts and did something about it.
Watcombe is a tip I think something needs done about it "no fault of the residence" but I'm really getting annoyed walking around my local area thinking what a mess it is

I was brought up in watcombe and had great childhood memories there. When I visit my family and friends there am very disappointed in the state of watcombe, appearance and the mess, needs to be cleaned up!!!

It's not just the appearance. Dog faeces and other foulings can't be seen or cleaned up, a recipe for some poor child to contract E-coli or similar.

Bins are needed at all entrances to the park as I'm sure there used to be when I was younger, an old fashioned community officer walking the estate on a daily basis talking to residents and attending council meetings on behalf of the estate would go a long way to improving the quality of life here, issues I've raised with the council numerous times seem to fall on deaf ears. Road and pavement maintenance, grass cutting, litter control, the long and short of it is they don't have the money! So rather than spread what money they do have (our money) out equally across Torbay they focus on certain areas therefore creating areas which are perceived as deprived! When in fact I would say at least 60-70% of homes on the estate are owned.It's all down to bad management of our money and a huge lack of care. I think Torbay council bigwigs need to go spend a month or two with Teignbridge council to learn how to provide the quality of life we deserve thus deserving the wages they earn.
