Waste Management Concerns
We, tenants of the DNA building, are writing in response to your recent communication regarding the waste management situation in our community and the proposed service charge increase. While I understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and functionality in shared spaces, I would like to bring to your attention a significant issue that has been overlooked.
The bins provided for waste disposal are not easily reachable for the tenants in our building. Despite our best efforts to adhere to the guidelines set forth by your team, the placement of the containers makes it impossible for us to dispose of our waste properly. The bins are situated in a way that hinders access, especially for a building with a substantial number of tenants.
It is unfair to impose a service charge increase on the residents without addressing the root cause of the problem. The difficulties we face in reaching the containers have been a persistent issue, and despite our attempts to communicate this concern, there has been no improvement in the situation.
We believe that the responsibility for ensuring proper waste management lies with the property management team. Charging residents for a service that is compromised due to the placement of the bins is unjust. We request that, instead of implementing a service charge increase, the focus should be on finding a solution to make the waste disposal process more accessible for all tenants.
We are more than willing to collaborate with the management team to find a resolution to this issue. We believe that a fair and effective waste management system should be in place before considering any additional charges on the residents.
If you require any further information or would like to discuss this matter in more detail, please feel free to reach out. We hope for your understanding and cooperation in addressing this concern promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Tenants of the DNA building
