I grew up on the East Coast where this sport is a staple. Kids of any size can compete and with elements from basketball, soccer, and football, is very exciting to watch.

My son is currently enjoying his last season of lacrosse since he will have to give up a sport that he loves and has played for 6 years just because he is entering high school.

My daughter has played the last 3 seasons on the kitsap peninsula with a small team. It's time for this ever popular sport to be recognized in our schools. Each year the sport grows, and it's not because kids are leaving other spring sports to play. It's time some of the AD's who are afraid some of their other sports

I would like to encouraging the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) to sanction lacrosse in state high schools.
