I grew up in that neighborhood and my father lives right next to that building and he is living alone at the age of 75. Most homeless persons are psychologically unfit. Having them near my father puts him in serious physical danger.

This shelter should not be placed in a residential area. The city should not spend tax payer money on a county facility. This is a fraud committed on the city, absolutely disgraceful

This move is not needed or necessary for Westchester County and should definitely not be put in our neighborhood. This is a disservice to the community. The administration has no concern for citizens in the south side of the city. We pay the highest taxes in the area, yet are given the short end of the stick.

The homeless shelter is needed but it is not needed anywhere near families and their homes but more closer to the city so they can access resources and programs easier
