Good article by J.Paul Blake on the Opinion section of the Seattle Times this morning. I agree with him that this state does need a Museum and Hall of Fame to showcase our Washington State Athletes. I have been working with a Steering Committee headed up by Dave Moffett to establish a Washington State Ski and Snowboard Museum on Snoqualmie Pass which will open in December, 2014. This Museum will showcase this state's rich history in skiing and snowboarding as well as feature our 34 Ski and snowboard Olympians and our many Prominent Skiers. I hope that this all state-all sport museum will become a reality.

A state sports museum and hall of fame is long overdue. The closest Washington ever came was a little area in the Kingdome, and the collection was scattered when the building was imploded. Ideally, the single-sport halls of fame scattered throughout the state could be combined in one grand facility.
