We ask the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, to remove all "racial slurs" from the NFL. The Washington Redskins are to be urged to change the racist mascot and name that have offended the Native American race. When this issue was brought up to Washington Redskin owner, Dan Synder, his refusal to change to the name was clear and adamant. The NFL, which promotes diversity and inclusion, should not be associated with racism and ignorance. Given that the NBA recently took heavy action on LA Clipper's owner, Donald Sterling, for his racist comments, the NFL should take this opportunity to take a firm stance on ending racism in the NFL.
