We, your residents of Warwick Court Townhomes, would like to voice our concern over your new parking lot policy. Parking in the lot is not something that should be reserved only for those who can pay. Parking in the lot provides easy access for those loading and unloading children, pets, or groceries. It makes it less difficult for the elderly or disabled who would otherwise have to walk a long, often painful distance. It gives security to women and the vulnerable walking to and from their cars alone. When you make the lot only available to those who can afford it, you will also increase the amount of cars parked on the street, meaning we will have to park farther and farther away, even when there are empty spots in the lot. We know it is no coincidence you made this decision after having filled the majority of the renovated units. This will almost certainly impact whether or not some residents choose to resign their lease. Please reconsider reserving the lot.
