Please hop on board and show your support regarding the upcoming Warrgamay Native Title Claim QUD 882 of 2015 - this is for our families to be included in the Native Title claim under a descendant of our Ancestor "Kitty".
This is extremely important to show our connection to our culture and our land, to express forth your support for fellow family members that will be able to attend physically at this meeting taking place on the 13th of October 2018 9am at TYTO Conference Centre, 73-75 McLwraith St, Ingham Qld 4850.

Seeing this grow is heavy because it reminds me of how much work remains to ensure our ancestors are finally recognized. We are carrying a lot of weight together and I appreciate you walking this path with me.

I am the descendant of Jessie Wyles and Victor Courtney. Birth place Townsville. I have 1 sister Michelle Courtney and 2 brothers Victor Courtney and Vincent Courtney who were born in Cairns. In all we have 26 children between us and multiple grandchildren. We give our support to our Wyles family and recognition to our native claim. My father Vincent Courtney (snr) is a surviving elder who was born on Palm Island and grew up in Townsville.
"Kitty" is our Apical ancestor of the wyles, Boyd, Butler Clarke and Courtney families. Kitty is mother to Ivy wyles who is mother of Carl wyles sr, my father. It's very important our families attend this meeting and support each other in this.
I'll be there on Saturday !
