Final supporters
Join the community of support for Warrensburg Jr/Sr High school to build an auditorium. The auditorium would provide the school and community with a venue for concerts, drama productions, and other performances. Further, the school would have a more suitable location for assemblies, testing, conference presentations, and more. In addition, the community would have a suitable venue for an assortment of functions and activities. We propose that the project be looked into for feasibility. If you agree with the following statement please sign.
"I support the proposition for the addition of an auditorium to Warrensburg Jr/Sr High School either through the building of a new building or the conversion of an already existing structure. (contingent upon budget and approval) "

There's nothing more meaningful to the arts and education than to have a bonafide, dedicated auditorium/theatre for the enrichment of students and the community at large alike. The benfits are incalculable. I have seen it in action from community theatre to summerstock theatre.
When I lived in the area, I attended several plays at this high school. The drama team has always impressed me with how well they performed. I believe that a bigger auditorium would both help future performances and reflect well on the school.
My uncle, Jim Corriveau, has made the performing arts program at Warrensburg into one of the best in New York. I hope the school continues to support this and acts accordingly to make sure he and all others involved can continue to expand the program
The "cafetorium" was a cheap solution to a problem of finishing the school. Concerts and plays echo because of this oversight. The arts have to appreciated. It has been over 20 years since the school was opened, it's time to follow through with the promise of an auditorium.
An Auditorium is much needed in our school ! Rehearsing for plays& musicals and concerts in the cafeteria , dismantling everything for lunch etc is crazy ! Not to mention seating for people with a physical disability @ a lunch table on a little round seat that is attached to the table is impossible !
The play this year was great but it would have been so nice to be able to see the whole stage. If you van get the funds add the auditorium. Start fundraising kids!!!!!

Our students, parents and school personnel deserve the very best for all their hard work and efforts. Please no more “hot sweaty” prom coronations or graduation ceremonies in the gym.
