Our family appreciates the effort of Warren township and BOE to let our kids have at least some in-person instruction this year - we honestly do! But we also believe that live classes should be a priority over many things (malls, indoor dining etc) that remain open. Also, private schools were quite successful in maintaining full-time in-person learning. Our k-2 grades that attend 5 days a week don’t seem to be causing a lot of trouble as well. There’s one thing that parents can’t provide (no matter how much we try) - socializing in a school setting. In-person instruction is irreplaceable! Please, bring our kids back to school 5 days a week full time.

Parents need an option to send children to school full time. Children are suffering academically, mentally, emotionally, and on and on. Our children need to be prioritized.

I want our teachers and children to be safe but this does not work half days and no virtual that is meaningful. I am happy to support safety for all with investments in filtration, masks, testing.

If other neighboring schools can figure it out, Warren should be able to also. For their mental health, kids need to be in school & not in front of a screen all day.

Would love to see all of our children back in school. Since fall we have demonstrated that children can return to school with safety in mind. It is crucial to the educational well being of our students to provide this essential servuce.

The kids need to be back in school full time. Distance learning is not nearly as effective as in person, and cheating while remote is way too easy and unfair to those students who are in person.

For the children who need in person instruction. For the children who are not learning well remotely. For the children who need the structure and connection being in school provides to help them engage with the material. Open the schools safely for all who want it - every day - all day.
