Placing a skatepark in the community would be so beneficial in bringing people together while not only giving people the opportunity to enjoy something they love without judgement, but with providing the opportunity to create new connections and niches within the diverse population of the community. The environment that a family-friendly skate park can provide people with is such an underrated welcoming and judgmental free vibe that it gives people the opportunity to come out of their shell and find friends and passions that they otherwise may not find another safe place to do so. Skating is a passion and it has brought so many people together and I really think that this town would benefit greatly in not only a social but a comforting way from having one.
