I am one of hundreds of runners that use the park. Parkrun is great for Coventry fitness and health and should be supported. Keep running free!

This proposal will make it harder for people to stay fit and healthy. Those that don't live within walking distance will stop coming of this charge is put in place

An absolutely disgusting idea. What are the council thinking of. We have an obesity epidemic in this country and the War Memorial Park is one of the main places where the citizens of Coventry can exercise safely away from traffic.

I am the walk leader for Coventry Mental Health Mates and this would severely impact on encouraging anyone suffering with their mental health to come and join our walks

Keep parking fees free for upto 3 hrs as will dramatically effect volunteers and participants in parkrun which helps Coventry residents exercise and get fitter

Charging would only discourage people from exercising in the park and/or cause increased parking in nearby streets that are already over used.

I park there for an hour a day like a lot of dog walkers. Charging £1 will mean I will park on the nearest road outside someone’s home at 5.45am. Not fair.
