The local council has officially approved the funding proposal for our greening project. This positive outcome is a testament to the commitment of the 188 people who signed this petition. We will now begin the process of coordinating with local authorities to ensure these improvements are implemented effectively.

PLEASE SIGN ASAP. A group of local residents and neighbours are seeking your support to apply for funding to help make Walton North 10 times greener. Including planting around Terrace Road shops and replacing lots of our lost street trees including in The Grove, Cottimore Lane, Dudley Road, Annett Road, Russel Road, Cambridge Road and more. We intend to apply for CIL funding (community infrastructure levy), the application needs submitting by the beginning of April. The feedback regarding potential locations for new street trees has been incredibly helpful as I prepare the final funding proposal. I am currently verifying the specific planting requirements for each proposed site with the local council officers.

Several trees have been lost and it would be so nice if these were replaced and others planted in addition . Walton has a very high volume of traffic and it would help the environment.
Would be happy to help with planting, maintenance etc. Live in Annett Road. Very keen to support this brilliant initiative
This idea will make our town a nicer place to walk/cycle rather than use the car - and it fits well with the jubilee tree planting project
I have previously asked Elmbridge about replanting a tree in Annett Road and was told that a planning application was needed and £££s. This whole area is in need of a re planting program and greening up, it would improve the area in so many ways.
It is so important to keep our area green, for health and well being. We have certainly lost most of our trees in dudley road, it once was beautifully tree lined, along the whole road! Now there is hardly any, no more blossom.
After all the recent destruction of magnificent trees in our local area and the planet being decimated by global warming I feel that every living plant and tree should be conserved for the greater good.I hope Elmbridge Council will help in our quest to save the planet and invest in new life for North Walton.
Trees and flowers make such a difference to every street.

Resident on Dudley Road. Over the years I’ve seen tree after tree die and not replaced, just the ground covered over. The area will look fantastic if we green it up.
