this was a huge disconnect from our relationships with our customers. I hardly ever used it.

I hear what you are saying loud and clear Shenigmata, my last day will be this Thursday and leave with a lot lot lot of negativity toward walgreens and it's staff! I can't stand anything they are doing and I feel like I was pushed out because I am not a puppet on a string like some employees (and they know who they are). I really wanted to say you can all suck it and walk out, but I love my customers too much too do that! I find it amazing how a company can be in business for so long and they still can't get it right! We have lost a lot of customers because of their practices! I am glad I am out of there! And will continue to pray for who is left there!

Store has been struggling more and more for the last year with reduced hours. Not reasonable to take time off for sick or vacation since there is no one to cover. Being shorthanded this way is just one of the dozens of problems that are slowly killing us.

agree. I have been working with Walgreens for over a decade. I have always given 100% and never called in or even showed up late. I recently got chewed out by the store manager for not saying Welcome To Walgreens to a person I didn't even see. They made it clear you can get fired over such things. I have never been rude to customers and always treat people the way they should be treated. I find it hard to say be well to a visible cancer patient or a frail eldery person . Its an insult. I'm sure they would love to be well but by me saying it, its not going to happen. Its hard to tell people to be well when they are purchasing junk food , cigarettes and in select locations, alcohal. I'm tired of living in fear if I do not say things exactly the way they should be said, I will lose my job. There is too much tension and negativity at my store. People work in fear, I know I do. I came in Walgreens working in a laid back relaxing environment where you could actually work happy. Its not like that anymore. I fear Walgreens will lose all their best employees over petty verbiage by them quitting or getting fired. At this moment I'm not sure if I will be the former or the latter.
