It’s quite embarrassing to have such sub par tennis courts in the county. Let alone for teams that make it to state every year.

The WAHS tennis teams have a long history of outstanding success along with great camaraderie and character. They deserve to have up to date facilities to represent the fine team they are and to elevate team morale. Thank you!

Even though my son left WAHS for another school in his Junior Year, we agree that these courts are in dire need of resurfacing.

The WAHS tennis courts should reflect the determination and effort the student-athletes and coaches put into the game of tennis for the school year after year. The county and school should show pride in these efforts and provide the players and the local population with updated and safe courts to play on!

the condition of these courts is really an embarrassment. My children will be a WAHS in the next few years, I certainly hope we can find some budget for this improvement before then. Thanks.

The tennis programs at WAHS have a long history of excellence. Please support the student athletes at WAHS by providing them a safe surface on which to play. Thank you, Justine Montgomery-Mom of former players Madeleine Ix, Rosemary Ix and Alex Ix

Our athletes are competing at a high level despite the deficits in the physical facility. I support this project for both the current and future players.

This is a great use of ACPS funds since it brings so healthy pleasure to the community.

With the championships WAHS has won in tennis and the recognition it brings to the county, resurfacing the courts should be an easy decicision.

Good afternoon, A question I have is if there is any plan or timeline for the tennis facility being considered we aren’t aware of? My oldest son, Gavin, played the 2018 season and even back then the courts were over due for a resurfacing. Now 5 seasons later my son Tanner is on the team and still no improvements. Consider this, not only has the girls and boys tennis teams been one of if not the most successful sports for WA, how good would it look to have freshly painted blue on blue or green courts with logoed WA windscreens?! This would boost the atmosphere, school pride and would be great branding. It’s a nice school overall, but this could be a great look and amenity to the community which is growing in leaps and bounds. As it is now, it is an eye sore which reflects poorly on the school and county and there is some question of its safety. Btw, the school could host USTA tournaments in the off seasons and use some of the profits to help off set some of the cost. Please consider all of our comments and wishes. Have a great day!

The courts are not safe in their present condition. They present a tripping hazzard.

WAHS boys and girls tennis teams have a long history of excellence at both the District and State levels. These athletes deserve a first-class facility for practice and matches. The WAHS tennis courts must be resurfaced so the caliber of the facility matches the caliber of the players. This upgrade is long overdue, and I'm frustrated other WAHS sports seem to be a higher priority.

Please resurface the WAHS tennis courts for our athletes and community. The courts have been neglected for too long.
