WHEREAS, the City of Rochester Hills has made the decision to build a community garden; and the residents of the Wabash Park area support this decision, we feel it would be inappropriate to locate this community garden in Wabash Park for these reasons:

1) High traffic caused by garden

2) Garden to be located where the kids play, rest of park is wet.

3) 7.5’ tall fence unattractive

4) Lack of parking

5) Negative impact on surrounding property values

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the underside of this Petition do not support a
community garden in Wabash Park
